MEET KARHU’S NEWEST SILHOUETTE, THE MESTARI CONTROL

This fall, KARHU will re-launch the Mestari Control, an innovative spin on a staple sneaker from our lifestyle collection. The Mestari Control debuted this past spring as part of our special collaboration with Universal Works; however, we are proud to release it for the first time in-line.

The Mestari Control is the newest silhouette in the KARHU collection and our latest model to feature a robust, slip-resistant outsole. 

Inspired by several prototypes from KARHU’s back catalogues, the Mestari Control utilizes a novel traction pattern from an early 80s version of the Albatross.

Our design team has reimagined this unique outsole to create a sturdier version of the Mestari with more grip for day-to-day use.

 Additionally, the upper of the Mestari Control features detailed tooling inspired by an older silhouette, the KARHU Balance.
